Clouds

People don't let nice white fluffy looking clouds fool you. They might look nice even from the air BUT...........

when you are in a very small air plane they cause some NASTY turbulence.

The two industries near Gold River is Fishing and Logging. Mainly Logging for Gold River and for the First Nations Fishing (at least for the moment)

Mountains

The First Picture is up an inlet toward Tahsis which is about 61 KMs up a logging road from Gold River

The rest of the photos are of the mountains in the island. Who would have thought the island had so many mountains

On out way to the Anacortes ferry to take us back to Canada and the island we found the little town of Le Conner, a must see again...

Okay this isn't really the west coast travels of where I work..... I do get to get away for a vacation from time to time..... At least it's still on the west coast.....

I went with my mom to the states through the Peace Arch boarder crossing...

This is the cute little cabin we stayed in at the KOA... Too bad it didn't have a toilet we still had to do the 200 meter bathroom dash in the middle of the night.....

I thought Since I took pictures of the falls and big bend in winter I figured I would show them in the summer,

Now this is big bend and yes it was nice to walk into and cool off in today.
